Falconer Bryan Pte Ltd & Falconer, Bryan & Associates
Pte Ltd), was established by Captain John
Falconer and came into existence in 1983 in Singapore and in June 2008/November
2003 the
firm's name was changed to that mentioned above.
During its existence, the firm has always been, and still is, involved in Marine
Warranty Survey work and Oilfield Claims Adjusting predominantly in the South
East Asian area with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India,
China and
Australia. Offices are also located in Houston and London.
The firm regularly accepts assignments in Europe, Mediterranean, North
& West Africa, Middle East, West & East Coasts of India, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan,
Papau New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand.
In order to fulfill the assignments, the firm employs on a full time basis
a
team of highly qualified personnel for the four main areas of activity, namely:
- Loss Prevention Surveys
- Damage Surveys & Policy Review
- Technical Analysis and Design Related Assignment
- Independent Marine Related Surveys
The firm is headed by Captain John G. Falconer who is the Chairman of the
overall group of Companies in Australia, China, Indonesia, India,
Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
Captain Falconer has been involved in the Marine, Offshore and Survey industry
in South East Asia since 1971 and has a wealth of experience in the region on
marine survey aspects in addition to Energy Claims and Loss Adjusting. He
is ably assisted by a full time staff of Marine, Engineering and Technical
Personel in the Singapore office with regional offices also being fully manned by highly
qualified full time surveyors and technical personnel.
The firm is committed to quality of service and originally obtained ISO 9001:1994 accreditation
in 1998 by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). The transition to ISO
9001:2000 was successfully completed in November 2003. Surveyors are encouraged to attend further training
courses/seminars and to study to keep up with all the latest trends in the
industry. The Singapore Company trains all the surveyors who are based in
the various offices in the region.
